Repairs to 32nd Avenue South in Grand Forks are beginning to wind down as the projects end date draws closer, according to a city news release.
Concrete repairs and asphalt paving on the road were completed Aug. 24.
Baring any equipment breakdowns and if concrete pours meeting strength tests, grinding of non asphalt roadway and intersections will start this evening, according to the city.
This work will take place at night between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Repairs will be done on one road segment at a time and will take about seven to 10 days.
On Sept. 3, a microsurface will be placed over asphalt surfaces on the road. The operation is similar to traditional paving but faster, according to the city. This process will take place at night between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and should take two to three days.
